As expected, Tropical Storm Barry made landfall a category one hurricane according to media reports as the system batters the Gulf Coast of Lousiana and Mississippi with torrential rains.
Winds are an estimated 75 mph while levees and floodgates in Golden Meadow, Louisiana seem to be holding up against the heavy downpours. That all however despite the video seen below showing some pretty significant flooding along a Golden Meadow roadway.
