🇺🇦 Ukrainian airliner crashes in Tehran shortly after takeoff

Reuters and the FARS News Agency is reporting that a Boeing 737 belonging to Ukraine International Airlines has crashed shortly after takeoff from Imam Khomeini airport in Tehran, Iran.

It appears that the plane with 180 passengers on board went down due to mechanical issues and didn’t crash as a result of the rising tensions in the region.
