A second whistleblower has come forward with reported “firsthand knowledge” of accusations against Donald Trump soliciting Ukraine for information on his possible political opponent Joe Biden according to ABC News.
Attorney Mark Zaid who is representing the whistleblower and helped blow the lid on the administration regarding the Ukraine scandal says that the second individual has already spoken with Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson but has yet to sit down with the House committees leading the impeachment inquiry.
One of Zaid’s collegues confirmed the ABC News report on Twitter:
Despite Donald Trump publicly calling for Ukraine (and now China) to investigate Biden, the administration has repeatedly tried to undermine the first whistleblower for relying on secondhand knowledge pertaining to Trump’s phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky. However someone with firsthand knowledge of Trump’s potential shady dealings with foreign governments could add an entirely new damning perspective to the investigation and impeachment inquiry.
