An “active shooter” has been reported on the Ohio State campus Monday morning as the school sent out tweets as well as text messages to students informing them to “run hide fight”.

Eyewitnesses report hearing what sounded like gunshots around 19th street and College. Other witnesses are reporting an individual down in front of a chemical engineering building in the area. This however hasn’t been confirmed by media outlets.

Local authorities have also confirmed that seven individuals have been taken to local hospitals.
