Iraqi and coalition forces have begun their assault on Mosul in an effort to take back Iraq’s second largest city from ISIS.
According to reports, Iraqi along with Turkish, United States and Kurdish Peshmerga forces have began their attacks on the last ISIS stronghold within Iraq, a campaign that’s been two years in the making.
Currently much of the fighting to take back the city has been conducted on the outskirts and within the suburban ares as the coalition looks to cut off supply lines to the city.
