Housing and Urban Development secretary Ben Carson has been diagnosed with COVID-19 according to NBC News.
The news comes amid a second outbreak that has hit the White House and less than a week after it was revealed that Donald Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows had also been diagnosed with the virus.
Both Carson and Meadows attended a Trump victory party at the White House this past week which not only ended up being a wash considering the President lost re-election to Joe Biden but it appears the White House gala could be the latest super spreader event held at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Last month, the nomination of now-Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett led to a number of coronavirus infections which included Donald Trump, first lady Melania Trump, and former New Jersey governor Chris Christie among others.
