As Israel continues to murder civilians, assasinate foreign leaders, and completely destabilize a region, Israeli prime minister and war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu broadcasted a message to the Iranian people seemingly foreshadowing war with their country as Israel continues to expand their war in the Middle East which they seem desperate to bring to Persia.
In a roughly three-minute long video statement, Netanyahu masks his genocidal aspirations by saying that he and Israel “stand with the Iranian people” as he talks about the reach of Israel’s deadly capabilities.
In a tone that is reminiscent of Adolf Hitler’s goals of German expansion during World War II, Netanyahu bloviates at Iranians living in poverty while their government spends billions of dollars on weapons. Obvioulsy, this is rhetoric colonialists, and their sympathizers either don’t understand or simply gaslight the public when it comes to countries like Iran spending vast amounts of money on weaponry. It’s simply a rich statement when you have the United States supplying Israel with billions of dollars in arms while settling military bases across the Middle East on the doorstep of Iran. All of this while Israel continues murder with complete and total impunity.
Imagine a world for the Iranian people, the Venezualan people, or any other oppressed people in the global south if they didn’t have to constantly defend themselves against United States and Israeli hegemony.
