For the first time in almost a decade, New Orleans sludge metal outfit Down is making new music.
The news comes amid guitarist Kirk Windstein posting on social media a picture of Down/Corrosion of Conformity guitarist Pepper Keenan and himself with the caption “So…we kinda wrote 2 Down songs today!!!”
For Windstein, this latest music would actually be the first since 2012 given he wasn’t featured on the band’s last release, 2014’s Down IV – Part II EP.
