Hillary Clinton‘s campaign for president just took a major dump and yes we’re just eleven days outside election day.
FBI director James Comey announced Friday that the Bureau will re-open the investigation into Hillary Clinton after “emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation” have surfaced.

“In previous congressional testimony, I referred to the fact that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had completed its investigation of former Secretary Clinton’s personal email server. Due to recent developments, I am writing to supplement my previous testimony,” Comey wrote.
“In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation. I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday, and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation,” he added.
“Although the FBI cannot yet assess whether or not this material may be significant, and I cannot predict how long it will take us to complete this additional work, I believe it is important to update your Committees about our efforts in light of my previous testimony,” Comey concluded.
Her opponent, Donald Trump whose spend the past several weeks talking about the corruption in Washington while blasting the FBI after Comey’s original decision back in July to close the investigation into Clinton offered nothing but praise this afternoon.
“They are reopening the case into her criminal and illegal conduct that threatens the security of the United States of America” Trump said to loud applause. “Hillary Clinton’s corruption is on a scale we have never seen before, we must not let her take her criminal scheme into the Oval Office. I have great respect for the fact that the FBI and the Department of Justice are now willing to have the courage to right the horrible mistake that they made.”
“This was a grave miscarriage of justice that the American people fully understood, and it is everybody’s hope that it is about to be corrected,” Trump added.
Now we don’t know for sure if the emails in question are Clinton’s direct emails or emails from a staffer. This also apparently has nothing to do with WikiLeaks which I find hard to believe. What we can be sure of however is the information has to be significant enough for Comey to drop this bombshell less than two weeks away from a presidential election. Furthermore it’s a certainty that this will not be resolved before the end of the year let alone on November 8th when American’s go to the polls.
What a mess. And what great candidates the American public have to chose from. A democrat once again being investigated by the FBI and a republican bigot who think’s it’s okay to “grab pussy” because he’s a “star”.
Time for a do-over.
