A Indiana state Senator believes that teachers seemingly need to pull punches and be “impartial” when discussing Nazism in schools.
Republican Senator Scott Baldwin made these remarks during a discussion on a proposed bill that would ban “divisive” concepts in classrooms.
“Marxism, Nazism, fascism … I have no problem with the education system providing instruction on the existence of those ‘isms,’ ” said Baldwin, who co-wrote the bill. “I believe that we’ve gone too far when we take a position. … We need to be impartial.”

I’m not even gonna get into the Marxism aspect to his ridiculous comments. There’s a good chance Baldwin has zero understanding of what Marxism is and instead labels everything he doesn’t like as “communist” or “Marxist”.
We know though the human atrocities the Nazi’s did which I’m pretty sure Baldwin knows as well. We know what fascism did to Europe in the early 20th century and and yet we’re continuing to gloss over the incredibly gross and dangerous mistakes society made in the past.
Of course Baldwin tried to walk back his comments saying he was “focused on the big picture”, whatever that means.
If you want a big picture outlook on things look at this. The United States continues its dissent into fascism while republicans like Baldwin say the quiet parts out loud while democrats continue to look for fundraising opportunities.
