While Israel played the victim in the wake of Iran’s missile attack on Tuesday, it pays to keep a sober mind when it comes to the merciless and indiscriminate nature of the State of Israel.
Amid some Israeli targets getting hit, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the attack on four separate nations within 24 hours. This included Israel’s continued bombing of the Lebanese capital city in Beirut which also included the beginning of ground operations in southern Lebanon. “In a surprise announcement, Israel said Tuesday that its ground forces have been operating covertly in Lebanon for the last year, carrying out dozens of small ground operations,” according to the AP.
Additionally, Israel also bombed targets in Gaza, Syria, and Yemen while ordering Lebanese civilians to evacuate as the IDF coordinated what is being referred to as “targeted raids” to further spin the narrative and blunt what is actually happening in the Middle East.
Unfortunately, the order of evacuation of Lebanese citizens and the warning to flee to “humanitarian zones” mirrors the actions of Israel in Gaza when Israel’s occupational forces began their shelling of the northern portion of the Gaza strip while continuing their genocidal campaign southward.
