New York City billionaire Jeffrey Epstein was finally charged with running a sex trafficking ring further proving that if you’re rich you can get away with shit like this for years before any actual serious consequences are brought forth against you – if at all.

According to unsealed court documents, there are three unnamed victims cited in the case with a shit ton more seemingly lined up according to CNN’s Shimon Prokupecz.

Police also seized nude photographs of underage girls from Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse while prosecutors look to have the Billionaire locked up until his trial due to him being a flight risk.

Florida plea deal being brought back to light

A decade ago, Epstein was given a relative slap on the wrist when he was convicted for soliciting a 16-year old to perform sex acts on him. His high-powered lawyers though were able to swing a plea deal which a judge ruled in February that prosecutors had broken the law in reaching the previous plea deal. This raises eyebrows in more ways than one when you factor in the U.S. Attorney who helped orchestrate that deal – Alexander Acosta – is now the Labor Secretary in the Trump Administration.

As a result of that plea deal, Epstein spent 13 months in a federal country club where he could basically leave for few hours a day on ‘work release’.

Via the Miami Herald:

But Epstein — who had a long list of powerful, politically connected friends — didn’t go to state prison like most sex offenders in Florida. Instead, the multimillionaire was assigned to a private wing of the Palm Beach County stockade, where he was able to hire his own security detail. Even then, he didn’t spend much time in a cell. He was allowed to go to his downtown West Palm Beach office for work release, up to 12 hours a day, six days a week, records show.
