The senator and former presidential candidate originally went in for a procedure to remove a blood clot from above his left eye. However during the procedure doctors also removed what was said to be an “aggressive” tumor that was associated with the blood clot.

Currently the senator and his family are going over options to treat the cancer which according to reports could involve a combination of chemotherapy and radiation.
To say John McCain has dealt with a lot of tough shit throughout his life is a huge understatement. Likewise what’s ironic is a bought with brain cancer still may not be the toughest battle he’s had to deal with. In any sense however the guy is 80-years-old but if anyone at that age can also slay cancer it’s the same guy that had to deal with several years of torture in a North Vietnamese prison camp.
Needless to say no matter what your political affiliation is, you have to wish senator McCain a speedy and full recovery.
