A U.S. armored military vehicle was pulled from a swampy area in Lithuania submerged under meters of water days after it went missing with the fate of the four American personnel currently unknown according to Lithuanian officials.

“The armored vehicle was pulled ashore at 4:40 a.m., the towing operation is complete, Lithuanian Military Police and US investigators continue their work,” Defense Minister Dovilė Šakalienė said Monday morning in a post on Facebook.

According to the AP, the four man unit was on a training mission at the General Silvestras Žukauskas training ground when they went missing last Tuesday.
