Legendary frontman Morrissey got with 2010 and finally started a Twitter page for himself. His first tweet pretty much confirmed (offhand) that it was more than likely Morrissey behind the keyboard himself and not some assistant.

However in addition to this being a totally Morrissey tweet, Spent the Day in Bed will apparently be the name of his new single off his yet to be released “Low In High School” album.

The former Smith’s singer was also tweeting out U.S. state abbreviations which many speculate could be future stops on a North American tour. Some however are trolling saying that those abbreviations are already dates he’s planning on cancelling. And with that welcome to Twitter Morrissey!
