Richard Rojas, a 26-year old with a history of drunk driving has been named as the suspect in the Times Square car crash that killed one and injured 22 late Thursday morning.
Eyewitness reports say Rojas sped through red light at West 45th street mowing down pedestrians at a crosswalk before crashing into a traffic light post and some curb side barriers. In addition, Rojas fled his vehicle and looked “insane” before being taken down by bystanders and eventually brought into custody by the NYC police.
