The literal brain worms candidate, Robert F. Kennedy is reportedly planning on dropping out of the presidential race this coming Friday according to ABC News.

Kennedy is also apparently leaning towards endorsing Donald Trump, with that decision not yet finalized. However, Kennedy wants to “blunt” any additional momentum Kamala Harris and the Dems may garner from this week’s DNC in Chicago.

Kennedy’s campaign announced earlier in the day that he would make an address to the nation on Friday in Arizona, where he will talk about “the present historical moment and his path forward”.

An ABC News reporter said in a post on X he asked Kennedy if he would endorse Trump. “I will not confirm or deny that,” Kennedy said, according to the reporter. “We are not talking about any of that.”

Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, said on Tuesday that he was considering ending his campaign to join forces with the former US president Donald Trump, who is the Republican nominee for president.

The 70-year-old Kennedy had been lobbying both campaigns for a position within the administration in exchange for his endorsement these final few months of the election. The Harris campaign reportedly denied that request, however, Trump told CNN that he would “certainly be open” to the Independent taking on a role in his administration if Kennedy dropped out of the race and endorsed him.
