According to Andy Mai of the New York Daily News, the four remaining suspicious devices were not detonated and instead were taken to the Middlesex Fire Academy where they would be picked up by the FBI.
In addition to the early morning detonation in Elizabeth there was a series of separate incidents in the New York/New Jersey area over the weekend that involved suspicious devices and explosions. A day prior a pressure cooker bomb exploded and injured 29 people in Chelsea, New York while another device was found four blocks away.
