The new Samsung Galaxy S10 has a new feature that could be a deal breaker for some

The new Samsung Galaxy S10 isn’t set to be officially unveiled until February however a major flaw in one of the new primary features may leave some of the most loyal Galaxy fans with a tough decision to make.

That tough decision may revolve around phone’s new fingerprint scanner which uses a new in-display ultrasound sensor instead of the typical optical reader’s which most phone models use. However according to noted case maker Armadillotek, the new fingerprint technology presumably being used on the new S10’s will not support a screen protector.

So if this is true, buyers of the new S10 will either have to forego using the new finger print technology or go without a screen protector. That decision may be easy for some who can’t go without the new technology however keep in mind the new trend among these manufacturers whether it’s Apple or Samsung is wrapping their $700-plus phones in glass. Which means unless you’re the biggest tight ass when it comes to your phone buying a case with a screen protector is probably something you’re going to want to do.

In any sense though this may be a last minute flaw that Samsung is still trying to fix before they officially debut the new model. Or this is another sleazy attempt by a big corporation to try and take advantage of an all glass case, un-protected phones and the notion that people will be looking to buy replacements when they shatter their new Galaxy’s.
