Over the past couple of weeks, Donald Trump supporters have suffered some backlash simply as a result of their support of the GOP presumptive nominee. First and foremost I’ll go on record to say that any kind of physical attack on someone simply because of their political affiliation is undoubtedly wrong and has zero place in political discourse.
Secondly however, Trump supporters (like the Twitter page ‘Conservative Nation’) tweeting out misleading images of beaten women who they claim were victimized by these protests is also wrong within itself. It also doesn’t do any favors in the crusade to stop violence against women.
