It’s seriously time to cut the bullshit with Saudi Arabia.
In a report from CNN citing Turkish officials, the body of missing Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi was cut into pieces after what the Saudi’s will likely claim as an ‘interrogation gone wrong’.
Which makes you wonder, how wrong can an interrogation go if the result is getting a bone saw taken to you?
Via CNN:
The body of missing journalist Jamal Khashoggi was cut into pieces after he was killed two weeks ago at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, a Turkish official told CNN on Tuesday.
The claim, which was first made to the New York Times earlier in the investigation into Khashoggi’s fate, comes after Turkish officials searched the consulate for nine hours on Monday night.
Turkish officials have said privately that Khashoggi was killed in the consulate on October 2 after he arrived to obtain papers that would have allowed him to marry his Turkish fiancée, Hatice Cengiz. Saudi Arabia has previously insisted he left the building alive, but Cengiz says she never saw him again.
It took nearly two weeks after Khashoggi went missing before Saudi officials allowed investigators to enter the consulate and investigate what was probably a crime scene. Likewise, it was also reported that cleaning crews were seen entering the facilities just prior to investigators were allowed to conduct their investigation.
Meanwhile it seems like Donald Trump has bought whatever bullshit Mohammad Bin Salman and other top Saudi officials told him on the phone…
…during the call, and told me that he has already started, and will rapidly expand, a full and complete investigation into this matter. Answers will be forthcoming shortly.

Trump also maintained that he has ‘no financial interest in Saudi Arabia’ and that any suggestion otherwise is ‘FAKE NEWS’.
For the record, I have no financial interests in Saudi Arabia (or Russia, for that matter). Any suggestion that I have is just more FAKE NEWS (of which there is plenty)!

But… during a campaign rally in Mobile, Alabama back in 2016, Trump told his supporters that he gets along “great” with the Saudi’s and that “They buy apartments from me. They spend $40 million, $50 million. Am I supposed to dislike them? I like them very much!”
But we digress here.
The bottom line again is that it’s really time to cut all of this bullshit with the Saudi government. They’re as backwards as backwards can be and this isn’t just about Trump’s tendencies to cozy up with political strongmen and authoritarians. The United States’ willingness to shut their eyes and cover their ears to the human rights abuses goes well beyond the Donald Trump administration.
Saudi Arabia is the the World’s equivalent to a rich kid who just killed some pedestrian in their new Maserati and got a slap on the wrist for it.
