A van rammed itself into a crowd of people in Las Ramblas, Barcelona, Spain in what’s being described as a terrorist attack according to local authorities.

So far it’s been confirmed that one is dead with seven in serious condition. 17 people have been injured in total.
Police have since told people to stay away from the area while emergency authorities request the closure of mass transit in the City.

So far, no one is in custody as a massive manhunt ensues in that country.

UPDATE: ISIS has claimed responsibility for the terror attack in Barcelona. Thirteen have been confirmed dead and over 50 injured. Two people have also been arrested.
