The Academy‘s ouster of scumbag Harvey Weinstein was a given and shouldn’t be celebrated considering the obviousness of the move. In fact The Academy’s hypocrisy and complacent nature as representative of Hollywood should continued to be questioned and criticized considering how far back the Weinstein actions go. And not to mention the likes of Bill Cosby and Roman Polanski still having a seat in the Academy further illustrates Hollywood’s continued nonchalant approach when it comes to sexual assault.
