Wells Fargo pissed off a bunch of people, notably artists of all kinds after this brochure was sent out promoting theirย Teenย Financial Education Dayย later on in September. However instead of just promoting the event, it would seem Wells Fargo is also trying to get the future to simply fall in line with the status quo.

Ironically enough the female and male in the ad are probably actors. It also sure as hell tookย a photographer to capture their acting and a graphic artist to lay everything out in an appealing way so the future doesnโt wasteย their time becoming ballerinas, actors or any other kind of field that has to do with the arts.
Wells Fargo has since released a statement apologizing for the ad:

Now itโs probably naive to think that someone can earn a living as an oil painter or EVERYย aspiring actor will in fact be the next Marlon Brando or Meryl Streep. But that certainly in no way means art doesnโt have a place in todayโs society.
Art promotes critical thinking which in turn gives the public individuals who routinely think outside the box. Which would have served Wells Fargo well when it came to that ad since that kind of critical thinking perhaps could have caught the fallacy and irony in their own shitty brochure.
